Threadhopping: Check in with me if it looks like a serious thread, and obviously it's not allowed if it's a private interaction, but usually? If it's funny, go for it.
Fourthwalling: I'm not a big fan of being on either end of fourthwalling, so let's not, unless you play from one of those canons that literally anyone who lives in any version of America would know.
Crit: I'm always willing to hear what you have to say if you have issues with my play or suggestions on how to improve! My only stipulation is that it must come directly from you, no anon or sockpuppet accounts. This includes game-wide HMDs, Dreamwith PM, email, and Plurk.

Hugging this character: Go for it. He's gonna be weirded out and might shoot a tranq dart into the side of your neck though.
Kissing this character: Just grab him and lay one on him, go ahead. He'll be flattered, probably, but without his wife here, he's not going to follow through with anything.
Flirting with this character: I seriously cannot imagine why you would want to do any of these tbh but go for it. Again, without Dr. Mrs. around he won't be following through with anything. They're swingers, but that doesn't mean he's gonna cheat on the love of his life.
Fighting with this character: PLEASE. He can take a beating, but can't really fight back physically. He'll probably tranq you and live to fight another day, though.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): PLEASE YES. ANYTHING GOES. I mean, let's talk about it, but by all means, pluck the fuckers wings.
Killing this character: I'm open to it! Again, let's talk, but I'm down for anything.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes! We'll obviously have to talk for mindreading stuff, but mind control is on the table, too, if you want!

Age: Late 40s?
Height: Eyeballing about 6'something.
Weight: Underweight. Like around 120lbs? Cartoon proportions, but he's scrawny as hell, and definitely has visible ribs/spine bumps when naked.
Hair and eye colour: Dark red hair, but it's entirely hidden under the Monarch cowl and only visible in his GIANT EYEBROWS AND GOATEE FROM HELL. And his eyes are black, because cartoon stylized eyeballs.
Clothing: He will always, without fail, be wearing his Monarch costume in public. In private, he will still be wearing the cowl most of the time, but might have, say, a bathrobe or something on. Sometimes he cosplays, too, but without his wife around for weird sex, that's less likely.
General: Giant pointy nose, giant pointy eyebrows, giant pointy goatee, giant pointy wings. He's not a subtle looking person.
Pictures: The Monarch costume, costume with the wings up, getta load of those eyebrows, college was not a forgiving time for his appearance, tbh neither was childhood, SCRAWNY, NSFW, butt. also that tattoo washed off. nice red dragon pastiche tho, NSFW, he was giving the robot chlamydia, NSFW, more butt. Me too, Dean. Me too.
[ ABILITIES ]
MONARCH TOXICITY - While being raised by monarch butterflies as a child, he survived on a diet of milkweed, making him toxic to this day. What this means is anyone's guess, but in MoM it will mean cannibals will get very sick if they try to eat him. Also he can make tranq darts from his own bodily fluids.
MONARCH SUMMONING - He can summon and control a flock of between 2 and 500 monarch butterflies once a day. However, there's a 10% chance that it will summon a rain of 500 dead butterflies instead.
MONARCH WINGS - He can grow monarch wings that last 90 days (if they aren't ripped off first). To grow them, he has to cocoon for 12 hours. If he is disturbed from his cocoon, he has to wait 30 days to do it again, and has to remove his sad, wet, useless premature wings.
[ OPT-OUT ]
The Venture Bros. as a show is pretty terrible. Somehow, the Monarch's end of things are less awful than, say, Rusty Venture's, but the show as a whole includes the following themes:
Child endangerment (including but not limited to: neglect, abuse, and death)
Pedophilia and statutory rape
Drug and alcohol abuse
Extreme (cartoon) graphic injury and violence
Most of these aren't likely to come up with the Monarch (other than his numerous attempts at killing the Venture boys) but they are treated with levity by the show itself, and that will be reflected in my RP. In addition, the Monarch is prone to saying offensive things (such as calling stupid/ridiculous things gay, despite not being straight himself). I will do my best to warn for the big themes if and when they come up (whether in comment subjects/log headers, on plurk or discord, or via DM) but I understand some people do not ever want to play with these themes, regardless of context, and I respect that!
